The Origin…

Our journey to creating VENOM started in 2018 when one of our favourite, limited edition boards was severely damaged whilst in transit through airline baggage. This unfortunate event sparked the idea to create a product that will help prevent someone from experiencing the same misfortune.

There were two thoughts foremost that came to mind:

- Was it possible to repair locally?

- If repaired, would I feel confident enough to ride it without it risking further damage?

The following day we found out a few things:

1.) Airlines are very good at not paying for things they break

2.) Snowboards can be difficult to repair or hire on short notice, if at all

Fast forward 18 months of research, development, stress testing, and we launched the VENOM in 2020: a first of it’s kind, patent pending product designed specifically to protect the edge and sidewall of a snowboard.

In recent years, snowboard innovation and design has improved significantly; it’s a well engineered plank, a statement piece, an extension of your personality, unique and often irreplaceable. However, this has also pushed the price of snowboards to an all-time high. VENOM is for all those snowboarders who have researched and purchased snowboards they love and are as passionate about protecting their snowboards as they are about snowboarding.
